Max Bowden thinks about proposing to his girlfriend "every day".

The 'EastEnders' actor's character Ben Mitchell has a romantic proposal lined up for his boyfriend Callum Highway (Tony Clay) on Thursday's (28.01.21) episode - after doing a very unromantic job of popping the question earlier this week - and Max admitted he has been thinking about when he will get down on one knee in front of his girlfriend Danielle McCarney in real life.
He said: "Every day, of course you do [think about it].
"If you're with someone, you have to see your future with them and I absolutely do.
"Who knows … one day!"
Max's co-star Tony admitted he will pop the question to his girlfriend Olivia Griffin "when the time's right".
Speaking on 'The One Show', he added: "I have to be careful. She's lurking.
"I'd like to think I'm a bit of a romantic, but somewhere we both love, and when the time's right.
"We'll definitely cross that path when it comes to it!"
In June last year, Tony admitted he would love to see Ben and Callum - who are nicknamed Ballum by the show's super-fans - get married one day.
Asked what he'd love to see Ben and Callum do in the future, he replied: "Obviously a wedding in the future! That'd be lovely and I think that would go down pretty well.
"To have longevity between the two of them, seeing them have their ups and downs and how they deal with it together.
"Continuing to do exciting storylines too, we've been very lucky with the stuff we've been given and I really hope it continues."
