Maura Higgins thinks she's a "bit old" to return to 'Love Island'.
The 32-year-old beauty appeared on the show back in 2019 and although she's been tipped to appear on a 'Love Island: All Stars' series, Maura insists she isn't keen on the idea.
The brunette beauty told her Instagram followers: "I’m never going to go back on to 'Love Island'. Like, not because I didn’t enjoy myself, it was such an incredible experience, it changed my life, it gave me the platform I have today ... but I feel like I’ve done it once and I think once is enough and I’m a bit old for that."
Maura is happy with where she's currently at in her career.
Despite this, Maura can understand why some of her former co-stars might be tempted to return to the show.
She said: "I’m not going to go back on the show. I feel like I’m really enjoying what I’m doing … I just don’t really want to go backwards, I want to look forward.
"Like, I'm not saying anything bad about people that would do it again but like each to their own - but yeah, just not me."
'Love Island: All Stars' is set to air next year and Mike Spencer, the boss of 'Love Island's production company, Lifted Entertainment, has already described the show as "a must-watch series".
He recently said: "It has been rumoured now for a while but we are thrilled to finally confirm that we are making Love Island: All Stars early next year for ITV2 and ITVX.
"It’s set to be a must-watch series seeing some of your favourite Islanders from across the years heading back to the stunning South African villa to once again 'graft' as their search for love continues. I simply can’t wait."
