The wife of 'I'm A Celeb' star Matthew Wright has "cried" watching her husband on the show.
The outspoken presenter's spouse Amanda worries he will be thinking he is "unpopular" with viewers after being voted to undertake a number of Bushtucker Trials, and thinks losing the head-to-head trials would have left him "devastated".
She said: "You're seeing the man I see at home - not the sharp-tongued, tough journalist. I've cried watching it because I know how devastated he'd have been to lose the Bushtucker Trial and he'd worry he was being voted for trials because he's so unpopular, so I just want to give him a big hug."
Matthew has struck up a 'bromance' with campmate Joey Essex, and Amanda - who is undergoing her fourth round of IVF treatment - would love the reality TV star to be a godfather to any children they have.
She added to OK! magazine: "I absolutely adore Joey and would love him to be godfather because he's a great role model.
"I love their bromance and hope he takes Matthew dancing at the Sugar Hut afterwards. But I'd like him to learn to tell the time first if he wants to be a godfather."
