Matthew Perry was remembered during the BAFTA TV Awards with P+O Cruises on Sunday (12.05.24) night.
The former 'Friends' star - who died in October 2023 at the age of 54 - was not honoured at the BAFTA Film Awards which took place just after his death despite his successful film career but the sitcom legend was the final tribute during the section at the annual television ceremony.
Following a slew of awards, host Romesh Ranganathan said: "Tonight has been an incredible celebration of everything that is special about our industry..."
His co-host Rob Beckett added: "So, now let's take a moment to remember those people who are no longer with us, who played their part."
Sir Michael Parkinson and John Savident were also among the stars remembered.
The broadcast veteran passed away at the age of 88 towards the end of last year, and was one of the biggest names honoured during the in-memoriam segment of the annual awards ceremony, along with 'Coronation Street' legend John Savident, who starred as butcher Fred Elliot on the ITV1 soap and died in February at the age of 86.
'Hairy Bikers' legend Dave Myers - who passed away at the age of 66 earlier this year after a battle with cancer following decades of TV success with co-star Si King - appeared in an archive clip in which he said: "I hope you've enjoyed our adventures, too. And the food's not been bad, has it?"
Pioneering BBC Radio presenter Anne Nightingale - who passed away in January at the age of 83 following a brief illness - was also remembered, along with 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional Robin Windsor, who tragically died at the age of just 44 earlier this year.
Jonnie Irwin - who famously presented 'A Place in the Sun' from 2004 until 2021 - also received a tribute after he lost a long battle with lung cancer in February at the age of 50.
Former 'Brookside' Dean Sullivan passed away at the age of 68 in November 2023, whilst 'Yes Minister' star John Nettleton died just a few months earlier at the age of 94.
Other stars to have passed away in the last 12 months included 'Emmerdale' legend Steve Halliwell - who played the role of Zak Dingle on the ITV1 soap opera for more than 20 years until his death December at the age of 77 - and 'Dad's Army' legend Ian Lavender, who was the youngest member of the wartime sitcom.
Other stars remembered in the poignant moment included 'Line of Duty' actor Brian McCardie - who died at the age of 59 at the start of May - and 'The Office star Ewen Mackintosh, following his sudden passing at the age of 50.
