Matt Smith's 'Doctor Who' finale is expected to feature his alter-ego getting finished off by Cybermen.
The 30-year-old actor will be replaced by Peter Capaldi when he quits his role as the titular Time Lord in the BBC One sci-fi show after this year's Christmas special, and stuntwoman Darrelle Parker has sparked speculation the steel monsters could put paid to his character.
In a tweet which has now been deleted she wrote: "Great to be stunting again for Dr Who in the Christmas special playing a Cyberman. (sic)"
The Cybermen are expected to take on the Doctor in the show's 50th anniversary episode in November, and they will also be joined by evil foes the Zygons and the Daleks.
Show writer Robert Banks Stewart recently said: "The Zygons are in there with all the others - particularly the Daleks and the Cybermen,
"[But] nobody yet knows what the plot of the 50th will be - Steven Moffat and his team in Cardiff, they are quite rightly keeping it all secret."
The 50th anniversary special - which also stars David Tennant, Jenna-Louise Coleman, Billie Piper and John Hurt - will air on November 23, exactly 50 years after the show first started in 1963.
