Matt Lapinskas is to release an album this year.
The former 'EastEnders' actor - who played Anthony Moon in the BBC Soap from 2011 to 2012 - has turned his talents to music and he has decided to pen an eight-song record in 2021.
He wrote on Instagram: "Decided this is the year I’m going to write my first Album! Only 8 songs but hey we only live once! Even if it is just my mum who buys it #album #singer #songwriter #lovelife #harlem #man #letsgo (sic)"
Matt also appears on the lookout for further acting roles as he recently posted a headshot on the photo-sharing site and said he wants to be "100 per cent ready" if the entertainment industry "gets back to normal".
He wrote: "If my industry ever gets back to normal then I wanna be 100 percent ready mind and body! Let’s go! #actor #ready #letsgo #headshot #life (sic)"
Last year, Matt was spotted on a building firm's Instagram Story promoting their work, and offering to give free quotes.
He said: "So guys if you're looking for any work being done at your property then don't hesitate to give us a message and enquire.
"Happy to come around and give you a free quote.
"And also stay happy guys enjoy life and yeah keep it real, Sunday, happy day, all day."
The 31-year-old actor previously starred in panto 'A Tale To Tell' alongside JLS' Aston Merrygold, and ex-'Emmerdale' actor Tom Lister (Carl King).
He has also portrayed Pharaoh in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat', and appeared in a production of 'Ben-Hur'.
What's more, Matt starred in 'Dancing on Ice' in 2012, finishing runner-up in the series to Olympian Beth Tweddle.
