Matt Goss has signed up to the new series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 48-year-old singer-songwriter has reportedly agreed to take part in the popular ballroom and latin show when it returns to screens later this year after he impressed bosses when he starred in the programme's Christmas special back in 2013.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Matt is an amazing coup for 'Strictly'. Bosses were keen to sign him up after he impressed in the Christmas special and he will definitely be a favourite with viewers."
And Matt - who is best known as being the lead singer of the 80s pop group Bros -
which also starred his twin brother Luke - is expected to be among the more capable participants this year, owing to his background in the music business.
The insider explained: "He's one of the best performers in music so he could go all the way and win it."
It's been suggested, too, that Matt's enviable good looks will make him a firm favourite with the 'Strictly' viewers.
TV bosses, therefore, had no hesitations about asking him to appear on this year's show.
The source added: "It was a no-brainer to sign him up, he's definitely going to be the eye-candy for the mums.
"He's a massive sex symbol with a huge fan base across the world for both his music and his hunky looks so he bring in even more viewers."
Despite this, the hunky singer previously admitted he struggles to meet women because of his jam-packed work schedule.
Speaking earlier this year, Matt confessed: "My job makes it quite difficult to meet someone because I'm so busy travelling for performances.
"I'm lucky to have such an amazing life, so I do want to share that with a best friend. Someone I can make love to all over the world and just have a laugh with."
