Former ‘EastEnders’ star Matt Di Angelo and his wife Sophia Perry have welcomed twins into the world.
The 34-year-old actor - who played Dean Wicks on the long-running BBC soap - shared the news on his Instagram and revealed they have named the pair, a boy and a girl, Raphael and Daphne, who were born earlier this month.
He wrote: "My beautiful wife @sophiaperry has had two happy and healthy babies and begun raising them. Im in the kitchen trying to work out the steriliser.
"Welcome to the world Raphael Daphne, my dynamic duo. 15/08/22 [four purple heart emojis] (sic)"
Matt also posted a picture of the pair, snuggled up with having a snooze, sporting pink and blue beanie hats. In another snap, the twins were seen intertwining their fingers.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant was congratulated on his and his wife’s newborns by his former neighbours on Albert Square.
Jacqueline Jossa - who played Lauren Branning - commented: “Twins [hands out emoji] congrats guys !! Love this xxx. (sic)"
James Bye - who portrays Martin Fowler and is due to appear on the latest season of the BBC Latin and ballroom competition - added: “Congratulations mate!! Gorgeous! Love you to you [red heart emoji]! (sic)”
Rita Simons - who played Roxy Mitchell - wrote: "Mazel mazel mazel Pops! So happy for u! [red heart emoji] (sic)"

Matt announced back in April that he and Sophia were expecting twins.
He shared a video via social media, which showed them holding cannon poppers which went on burst with blue and pink confetti.
He captioned the post: “‘The lottery of life’, still a fair way to go but we feel VERY blessed.
“The boys name will be JACK, and the girls will be POT [laughing crying emoji] [praying hands emoji] [blue heart emoji] [dancing girls emoji] [purple heart emoji]. (sic)"
