Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood
Mary Berry thinks she'd be able to trump Paul Hollywood in a cake contest.
'The Great British Bake Off' judge believes her baked goods would be more delicious than her co-star's but she concedes Paul, who specialises in bread making, would win a bread bake-off.
Asked who'd win a cake bake-off, she said: "Me.
"Well, he'd win the bread, hands down, but I'd win the cakes.
"Though I'm not a great one for decoration. The important thing is that it tastes good."
The 79-year-old baking expert, who has been married to Paul Hunnings for 48 years, also shared her secret to maintaining a long-lasting relationship and claims it's best to walk away from an argument.
Mary told Waitrose Kitchen magazine :"I'm not one for confrontation. If you're upset just walk down the garden, pick some vegetables or flowers, and you'll feel better. It's no good shouting."
Mary has become a national treasure since appearing on BBC Two's hit baking competition, which reached highs of nine million viewers for its fourth series last year.
