Mary Berry thinks the revamped version of 'The Great British Bake Off' is "brilliant".
The 82-year-old TV star has been replaced on the popular baking show by Prue Leith following the programme's move to Channel 4, but Mary is full of praise for the new-look show, which also features new presenters Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig.
She explained: "I have looked at it yes, and I have to say it's a wonderful format.
"It's a wonderful creation that programme, and it's followed the same lines. It continues to be brilliant."
Mary relished her time on the show, but is now happy to sit back and watch Prue in action.
She said, too, that Prue and Paul Hollywood will continue to push the programme forwards in the coming years.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Mary said: "I was with it seven years and I loved it but I've gone on to pastures new and Prue Leith - she knows her stuff - and she and Paul will continue to be brilliant judges.
"I have spoken to Prue, I wished her well and she said she's thoroughly enjoying it and who wouldn't? It's a wonderful job."
Mary served as a judge on 'The Great British Bake Off' from 2010 until last year.
But since she decided against following the programme to Channel 4, Mary has kept herself busy with her new show.
Of her latest TV project, she shared: "I am doing 'The Secrets of Country Houses' which will be out in October and that has been terrific fun!"
