Mary Berry went clubbing in Ibiza when she was 71 years old.

According to comedienne Sue Perkins, the 'Great British Bake Off' judge, who is now 78, went to popular club Pacha, one of the most famous nightspots on the island, at 1am with several girlfriends and "some very interesting things happened".

Speaking on tonight's (13.09.13) episode of 'Alan Carr's Chatty Man', Sue - who hosts 'Bake Off' alongside Mel Giedroyc - said: "I was saying to her, 'I'm going to Ibiza this summer, I've never been.' She said to me, 'Oh I went to Ibiza, darling. I went to somewhere called Pacha.' Mary was 71!"

Mel added: "We thought she went to Pacha for afternoon tea. So we said, 'Oh, was it afternoon tea?' and she said, 'Got there at one' - we were like, 'Oh, lunch time.' No, no my friends, one in the morning! Bezza got there at one in the morning, aged 71."

Sue continued: "She said, 'I saw some very interesting things. Took a couple of girlfriends there, some very interesting things happened.' "

The comedy duo also revealed Mary has an apparent penchant for tequila slammer shots.

Sue said: "She likes a tipple. We had quite an interesting evening the night before the deliberations, Mary decides it's a good idea - after a lovely cast dinner - to start on the tequila slammers.

"And you know how most people have the salt, and then they drink it, and then there's the lime or whatever? She did it - there was no gurning, no facial reaction, it was just [mimes drinking] next one."
