Marvin Humes is set to take part in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
The 'Hit List' presenter - who has Alaia, 10, Valentina, six, and three-year-old Blake with wife Rochelle Humes - is seen by producers as having appeal to all generations thanks to both his TV work and his music with 'Beat Again' hitmakers JLS.
A source told The Sun newspaper's TV Biz column: “Marvin would be a brilliant signing.
“Not only is he known to fans of 'The X Factor' and fans of JLS, but the audience for 'The Hit List' and 'This Morning' spans from kids right through older viewers.
“And with Rochelle’s backing, he’s got a ready made fan base.
“He’ll have lots of showbiz stories to tell, too, from his 15 years in the limelight.
“The fact he’s remained a bit of a pin-up doesn’t hurt, either, and bosses hope he’ll make use of the jungle shower!"
If Marvin does take part in the show, it will add to speculation he and Rochelle are being eyed for the vacant permanent presenter roles on 'This Morning' following the departures of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
An insider said: “ITV has sometimes used the jungle to test out talent on their audience, or boost a star’s profile ahead of future plans on the channel.
“Marvin is currently 25-1 outsider for Phil’s 'This Morning' job but his talks for 'I’m A Celeb' will have tongues wagging.”
Other stars in the frame for the 23rd series of the show - which is set to begin later this month - include jockey Frankie Dettori, soap stars Danielle Harold and Nick Pickard, controversial politician Nigel Farage, and 'This Morning' host Josie Gibson.
A spokesperson said: “Any names suggested for 'I’m a Celebrity' are speculation.”
