Marvin and Rochelle Humes

Marvin and Rochelle Humes made a one-off appearance as hosts on 'This Morning' today (23.08.13).

The couple temporarily replaced presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford - who are fronting the daytime show throughout the summer in place of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield - for a special edition of the ITV programme.

During the show, Marvin and Rochelle chatted to Emma Willis about the new series of 'Celebrity Big Brother' - which kicked off last night (22.08.13) - before they were later taught how to cook up delicious apple and raspberry turnovers by Cat Dresser.

The new parents - who welcomed their daughter Alaia-Mai into the world three months ago - were over the moon with the response they received on Twitter following their debut co-presenting appearance and took to the social networking site to thank fans for their supportive comments.

Marvin wrote: "Wow what an incredible feeling! Absolutely buzzing off the show today! @RochelleTheSats well done! Thank you all @ITVThisMorning great day!x

"Thank you to everyone for their positive messages too! Means the world to us! Massive love!x (sic)"

The popstar duo were branded "naturals" by Rochelle's fellow band mate Frankie Sandford.

She wrote: "Argh! Look who it is!! Naturals! (sic)."

The pair have previously been approached by ITV and asked to front their own chat show as TV bosses believe they could as successful as husband-and-wife duo Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, who hosted 'This Morning' from 1988 to 2001.
