Agent Carter will be sticking with FOX UK, as it's been revealed the second season of the action-packed show will be broadcasting on the channel next year close to the American date.
Taking a consolidated audience of 900,000 viewers a week in the UK, the series has become a huge hit for the channel, and Managing Director of FOX International Channels UK, Jeff Ford couldn't be happier.
He commented: "Marvel's Agent Carter was a ratings smash for FOX UK, with a million people tuning in to Peggy Carter's adventures on launch. We're thrilled to bring the season 2 premiere to UK fans and can't wait to see what's in-store for the feisty and fearless heroine."
The first season of Agent Carter saw Hayley Atwell reprise her role from Marvel's Captain America movies.
Agent Peggy Carter is a highly trained field agent who doesn't get the respect she deserves from chauvinistic male colleagues, and so when she goes out on a secret mission for Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper), she risks it all, becoming embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with mysterious organisation Leviathan.
A chaotic season one finale saw Carter stop a deadly poisonous gas from being unleashed on New York City, whilst she also parted ways with the love of her life Steve Rogers, pouring the last remaining vile of his blood into the river.
Though details surrounding season two are scarce, we do know it'll begin a year after the events of season one, with Peggy moving to Los Angeles for her most dangerous and volatile assignment to-date.
Despite all of the threat she faces, could there be new love in the air for Agent Carter?
