Martin Roberts' dog has died.

Martin Roberts
The 'Homes Under the Hammer' co-host is "in shock, distraught and heartbroken" after his four-year-old pet pooch Rolo had to be put to sleep as he "deteriorated rapidly" after being diagnosed with advanced inflamed bowel disease.
Martin wrote on Instagram: "I’m sorry to have to share the unbearably sad news that Rolo has just been put to sleep. He had advanced inflamed bowel disease and had deteriorated rapidly. There was no cure and they said it was the kindest thing. I am in shock, distraught and heartbroken. I loved him so much x (sic)"
Earlier this week, Martin had updated fans on Rolo, revealing he was going to the vets for "special tests".
He wrote on Twitter: "Rolo update: just heard from the vet that Rolo had a comfortable night and that he’s going in for special tests this morning, so fingers crossed they can diagnose and treat the problem. Thanks so very much for your continued kind words and support. Send big doggie love Rolo’s way (sic)"
Martin had previously taken to social media to ask his fans if they had any advice to help his labradoodle, who had a "tummy problem" and wasn't eating.
The 57-year-old TV presenter said: "He's not eating and he's a slight little thing.
"He loves chicken and I've tried him on chicken and everything that he normally loves.
"I don't know if you've ever had a dog who just won't eat?
"Because there's no meat on him.
"If you know of anything that's an absolute guaranteed thing to get a dog eating again, or any advice I would really appreciate it.
"Otherwise, it's all a bit horrible, and he's too young to go through that."
He captioned the clip: "Can you offer any advice for my poorly dog?"
