Martin Kemp and Kerry Katona are said to have signed up for 'The Really Really Rude Puppet Show'.
The ex-‘EastEnders’ actor and former Atomic Kitten star have joined the cast of the risque Channel 4 programme alongside an array of celebs including Loose Women's Coleen Nolan and Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson.
A source told The Sun newspaper's TV Biz column: “Martin and Kerry have both agreed to take part in 'The Really Rude Puppet Show', along with Coleen Nolan, Sam Thompson and Melvin Odoom.
“They all jumped at the chance to get involved in the project which is turning out to be hilarious.”
The six-part series, which is due to air later this year, will see a different set of celebrities every week read out erotic fan fiction about themselves whilst puppets act out the moves.
Former ‘Great British Bake Off’ host Mel Giedroyc will be presenting the show.
Mel said: “This is going to be a celebration of erotic fan fiction. With puppets. Imagine a world where Jackie Collins meets 'Thunderbirds'.
“I'm so looking forward to a trip to 'Love Island', via Tracy Island.”
The source added: “This is arguably one of the most bizarre and brilliant shows ever devised and it's certainly a departure for Mel.
“She'll be joined by a famous face who'll have to recall some of the saucy stuff that's been written about them over the years.”
Channel 4 commissioner Vivienne Molokwu hopes the show will "encourage creative writing".
She said: "I'm very much looking forward to steamy storytime with Mel, a gang of celeb mates and a bunch of lookalike puppets.
"This is a very Channel 4 way of encouraging creative writing, where artistic self-expression will be encouraged. We may well unearth the next E.L. James in the process, which has got to be a good thing."
