The 34-year-old glamour model-turned-sports presenter is part of the current series of the E4 show - in which a group of singletons marry partners chosen for them by a team of relationship experts - and while she is used to "sexist comments" from some, her "upset" brows have come under fire lately.

But instead of reacting negatively to the keyboard warriors, Amy sends her condolences to trolls, because she believes they must be "miserable" if they are spending their spare time hating on others.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "People have been trolling my eyebrows, they are very upset.

"But with trolls, I've dealt with stuff like that.

"Having come from a glamour background into sport, they couldn't be any more polar opposite.

"A lot of the time I get a real mixed bag of feedback on Twitter.

"I get a lot of sexist comments. But those have died down now, because I've proven myself in sport.

"But I'm used to the trolls and that.

"What you have to remind yourself is, 'That person if very unhappy. They're going out of their way to try to bring you down. How miserable must they be?'

"I pity trolls. I send them a nice message like, 'I'm really sorry, you must be going through some stuff. Have a nice day.'

"If you're doing well in life you don't hate on other people."

Amy admitted the show is like a big therapy/ rehab session, and she has found it "so enlightening" discovering different aspects of herself she didn't know about before.

She said: "It's very out of my comfort zone to be that vulnerable. I do tend to shut things off and get on with things.

"It's so enlightening.

"The whole show is like one, big therapy/ rehab. You're all stuck in there together.

"You've got to look at all your flaws."

While there has been the odd online eyebrow attacker, Amy admitted viewer feedback about her has been "really good" overall.

She said: "I think because I have been so open and honest, the feedback has been really good.

"I've had so many lovely messages from women."

As well as being a qualified football referee, Amy also works for horse racing channel Racing TV, who are currently trying to get more racegoers closer to the action as part of their #Raceday initiative.

And Amy is also encouraging people to watch horse racing, admitting it is "for everyone" and is a "very chilled vibe".

She added: "I'm used to fighting against stigmas all the time, from the glamour thing, to being a woman in sport.

"There is a lot of stigma around racing, that it's a bit snooty.

"People see Ascot and they're like, 'Oh, I've got to go and wear this big hat.' But it's really not like that.

"You've got people that dress up, but you've got people who dress casually.

"Racing is for everyone. I don't think you should be scared of it.

"It's actually a very chilled vibe."
