Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are being lined up as a presenting duo by ITV.

The celebrity couple are set to follow in the footsteps of Marvin and Rochelle Humes - who recently hosted 'This Morning' for the broadcaster - by fronting their own show.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Mark and Michelle are being viewed as a potential golden couple of the channel.

"Bosses hope to find the right format for them once Michelle finishes filming on Coronation Street.

"They've been impressed by the reaction Mark had after 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' as well as his presenting work on 'Take Me Out: The Gossip'.

"Michelle is one of the most popular and gorgeous women on TV. They think together they could be unstoppable."

'Coronation Street' star Michelle, 26, has been dating the former 'The Only Way is Essex' star Mark since January and the insider believes they could go up against JLS star Marvin and The Saturdays' beauty Rochelle when it comes to casting for new shows.

The source added: "If it comes to it, the two couples might have to do separate screen tests to battle it out."
