The Chase's Mark Labbett has turned down 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'.
The 51-year-old mastermind - who weighs 378lbs - was asked to take part in the creepy-crawly show last year but he was forced to reject the offer because he didn't think the basic diet of rice and beans would be substantial enough for him and he'd probably have to resort to munching on his fellow campmates in order to live.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: "I've been asked to do the jungle but the base calorie intake is about 700. Look at me! If I survived a week I'd drop three stone and cannibalism would be on the cards. On 'Sugar Free Farm' [which he did last year] the weight fell off me because I couldn't eat enough. Does 'The Chase' need me big? Put it this way, whenever I start losing weight because I'm doing a fitness kick of whatever, the producers go past me and hand me a second portion of pudding."
Mark - who is known on the game show as The Beast - came under fire last year after he stormed off set and punched a wall after he lost out to a group of contestants.
But, although that was the first time the scenes have been aired, Mark has admitted he quite often struggles to contain his anger when he loses and regularly storms off.
He explained: "I have punched the wall a few times over the years, but this is the first time it had got a big mention. I think I am the best in the world at what I do. I crave big wins, that is what gives you a reputation and to me, reputation is everything."
