Maisie Williams will never return to 'Doctor Who'.
The 18-year-old actress - who appeared in the sci-fi drama for four episodes last year - has admitted she has no plans to reprise her role as Ashildr, the daughter of a ninth century Viking farmer, when the new series hit screens next year.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I'm not going to be working on 'Doctor Who' again. Everyone's hyping about it, which is very exciting, but I guess that's more of a publicity thing. But no, I'm not going to return, I have a lot of other really exciting projects lined up instead."
However, the brunette beauty has fond memories of shooting the last series alongside Jenna Coleman, who plays Clara Oswald, and Peter Capaldi, who plays the Doctor, and believes it opened her mind to different ways to film scenes.
Speaking at Coldplay's post-BRIT Awards concert in aid of War Child in London last night (24.02.16), she explained: "I had such a wonderful time shooting that series, it was really great to work with Jenna and Peter. It was such a different experience to shoot working in blocks, because I work on 'Game of Thrones' and we do everything all at the same time so it's a different way of working."
Maisie was joined by 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Alesha Dixon, Welsh actor Luke Evans and singer Conor Maynard at Coldplay's concert, and was treated to a special menu of cocktails by Italian liqueur Disaronno, such as their 'Sky Full of Stars' tipple, created especially for the event.
