‘EastEnders' actress Maisie Smith has reportedly signed up for ‘Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins'.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ runner-up is going to challenge herself on the Channel 4 military training show, and she wants to show a different side to her personality following her exit from the BBC One soap.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Maisie wants to show there’s another side to her beyond the sweet Tiffany she’s been known for playing since she was six. She got a glimpse of life beyond 'EastEnders' in 'Strictly' and enjoyed the freedom.
“She’d signed up when she told ’Enders bosses she was leaving, and can’t wait to get stuck in and prove her grit.
“She’s determined to give a good account of herself but knows it’ll be tough.”
The show is a two-week training course, based on the actual tactics of the Special Forces' recruitment process. It was previously presented by army veteran Ant Middleton, 41, however he was let go earlier this year. His replacement has not yet been confirmed.
The last season of the endurance show ended at the beginning of October with the celebrities in the final including singer 'X Factor' winner Alexandra Burke, ex-‘Love Island’ contestant Wes Nelson, TV presenter Ore Oduba and rower James Cracknell.
It is currently unknown when Maisie, 20, will leave behind her character Tiffany Butcher, whose recent storylines include discovering her husband Keegan Baker cheated on her with Dotty Cotton and a possible flirtation with Aaron Munroe.
