Nicola Hughes has welcomed her first child into the world.
The former 'Made in Chelsea' star and her spouse Charlie Tupper have become proud parents to baby Penelope.
Nicola shared a black-and-white photograph of their newborn daughter, who arrived earlier than expected, and her father fist-to-fist to announce the arrival.
She captioned the Instagram post: "My heart. Our little Penelope made an early arrival."
And Charlie commented: "So proud of you x."
'Made in Chelsea' star Tiffany Watson wrote: "Can’t wait to meet her."
And fellow former 'MiC' star Ashley James commented: "Massive congratulations lovely."
The reality star announced her pregnancy in May, simply captioning a bikini snap of Charlie with his arms wrapped around her tummy: "Hi baby."
After a relationship with her 'Made in Chelsea' co-star Alex Mytton, it was the latter who introduced Nicola to Charlie.
She recalled after her split from Alex in 2017: “Charlie isn’t in the reality world. He’s a very normal guy. He has a recruitment company in the city. He’s a lovely guy.
“We’ve been going out for nearly nine months now, I think. We met through Alex. I was dating him after Alex and then we stopped for a while, but now we’ve started again. It’s very nice.”
After briefly splitting in 2018, they rekindled their romance and became engaged in 2020.
The pair tied the knot in August 2021 and had to organise the ceremony at Botleys Mansion in Surrey in just six weeks.
Nicola shared: “It was a little hectic but we made it happen in the end! I think it was meant to be."
The quick turnaround came after their original plans to get hitched in France were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
