Fred Sirieix's mum has blasted his "unacceptable" behaviour on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
The First Dates star, 51, was eliminated from the ITV show on Tuesday night (05.12.23) but not before he criticised Josie Gibson's cooking on the show several times, branding it "kitchen nightmares", which left his mother "upset".
Speaking on 'This Morning' - which Josie co-hosts - via video link from Australia, he said: "I spoke to my mum and she said, 'Frederick!'
"She calls me that when she's upset. 'What did you do with Josie? Why are you telling her what to do? What was going through your mind?'
"I got a telling off from my mum she said it's unacceptable and she didn't want me to do it again ... she was mad!'
Despite constantly criticising Josie's cooking on the show, Fred insisted the former 'Big Brother' winner's meals were "good".
He said: "In all fairness, the meals Josie cooked were good.
"She could cook the meal on the day but I was concerned with how she would use and recycle the bones, vegetables and peels so we could make stock and improve the day after."
Fred was also involved in another bust-up earlier in the series, when Nella Rose - who departed the camp on Monday (04.12.23) - was furious with him when he said he was old enough to her dad.
Nella, whose father has passed away, branded him "disrespectful" and "stupid" at the time, but they have since cleared up the situation.
Speaking on the ITV brunchtime show, Fred said: "I was very surprised of the hate for Nella.
"It's totally wrong and unfair and it's not in my name. Nella is a lovely girl. Things happen, you move on and I don't know what all the fuss is about."
Nella was interviewed on the programme just minutes before Fred, and she admitted it was a "big fat misunderstanding."
She said: "We've gone over it, everything is cool, everything is blessed, I don't know why everyone's still crying about it.
"In the Jungle, everything is intensified. That subject [her dad] is very triggering for me because its a fresh wound but everything in the jungle is intense."
