Lysette Anthony has quit Twitter amid 'Hollyoaks' racism row.
The 56-year-old actress - who plays Marnie Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap - has opted to delete her profile on the micro-blogging platform following high-profile disagreements with former co-stars Rachel Adedeji and Charlie Clapham.
Lysette was recently described as "actual trash" by Rachel.
The criticism came after WhatsApp messages appeared to show the actress bemoaning the on-set "traitors" who supported Rachel's claims of racism.
According to the messages tweeted out by Charlie, Lysette allegedly said: "Sorry but we're not going to have a job to come back to if this stuff keeps being disseminated."
Charlie shared the messages and wrote: "Dear @chezLysette if supporting a former castmate, whilst she speaks of being racially discriminated against, makes me a traitor... then so be it.
"As for embittered, you're currently finishing (finished) where I started out. Salty much? - Best, CC/FR. (sic)"
Rachel wrote: "@chezLysette you are actual trash.. Charlie, you are a King and a true ally!! Love you my bro! X x. (sic)"
Rachel - who recently quit 'Hollyoaks' after four years - has claimed she experienced racism during her time on the programme.
'Hollyoaks' subsequently announced it would be "investigating" the allegations, insisting the soap is "zero tolerance on racism".
A statement read: "'Hollyoaks' has zero tolerance on racism. We are taking Rachel Adedeji's comments extremely seriously and are investigating."
Lime Pictures, the show's production company, also released a statement saying it has "a zero tolerance of racism or any form of discrimination across all of its shows".
