Lydia Bright got a fish hook wedged in her finger while she was competing on 'The Island with Bear Grylls' in February.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star has decided to get a tattoo of the sharp device etched onto her index finger in order to cover the scar that was left behind when she ran into some trouble while shooting the reality adventure programme.
Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday (11.05.16), the blonde beauty uploaded a photograph of her new inking accompanied with the caption: "So here it is my ever tattoo. A fish hook. In February, I took part in the biggest challenge of my life 'Bear Grylls The Island.' I got a nasty, extremely painful fish hook stuck in my finger that left me my proud scar. I got this tattoo in Bali to represent my wonderful world travels and incredible experiences (sic)"
The 26-year-old beauty spent the last two weeks in South East Asia trying to escape her heartache after she dumped her long-term on/off boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent when she found him slumped on the sofa after allegedly using cocaine.
And this isn't the first time the 28-year-old star has turned to the drug as he was also suspended from 'The Only Way is Essex' in November 2014 for cocaine use and subsequently spent a month in rehab to help beat his demons.
Although Arg is convinced he can win back his childhood sweetheart, Lydia seemingly has other ideas.
She hinted recently: "Life threw a massive curveball at me over six weeks ago. But I can now say I have healed and I am happy. Some things in life just aren't meant to be."
'Bear Grylls: The Island' will hit screens later this month.
