The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star welcomed the tot - whom she has with Lee Cronin - into the world on 21 February, and the 30-year-old reality star has opened up how she unprepared she was for her little girl's arrival, as she assumed she would be born past her due date.

In an Instagram post, she shared: "Everyone including myself thought I was going over my due date.

"So when I went into labour early I freaked out as I hadn't completed the long list of 'things to do' on my phone. "Contractual work still outstanding, my home renovation still not finished, shoot days in the diary."

The blonde beauty admitted she has been overwhelmed by life as a first-time mother, but insisted she is "trying to be the best mum" she can be.

She continued: "Since Loretta has arrived life has been pretty crazy trying to juggle the list, as well as all the guests and trying to be the best mum I can be.

"But today I have switched off, shut the door and it's been just me and my baby in our brand new bed.

"Thank you @slumberlanduk for delivering our bed and mattress so speedily. You have made duvet days my favourite kind of days #gift (sic)"

Lydia split from Loretta's father, Lee, early in her pregnancy but they have worked at rebuilding their relationship and he was "amazing" during the tot's birth.

She said recently: "We're getting on really well.

"Loretta was planned - this was always something we were going to do.

"So we decided to build up a relationship again.

"I didn't want to be angry anymore - what's happened has happened, I'm not going to hold a grudge."

But though the pair are "committed to being a family", they're not officially back together yet.

She added: "Now we're in a good place and I do love him, of course I do.

"I would love to think that we're going to be a family, and told him that if he could prove it to me between then and when the baby arrived then I would give things another shot. So that's what we're trying to do at the moment

"Equally, I know that if it didn't work out and we tried, we could be great friends and Loretta would always be our priority. Is he my boyfriend? We haven't really had that discussion. We're committed to being a family, but nobody has a crystal ball at the end of the day."
