The 46-year-old star's alter-ego Tina Carter was killed by evil Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) over Christmas, but some viewers don't believe she is really dead - and the former 'Bad Girls' star has added to the rumours by revealing she "went to work" this week.

She wrote on Instagram: "Got dressed. Put makeup on. Went to work. Yippee!!! (sic)"

Luisa's former 'EastEnders' co-star Kellie Bright (Linda Carter) commented with a love heart emoji.

Several fans questioned whether Luisa saying she was going to work meant Tina could in fact be alive.

One wrote: "Went to work. as in Tina’s alive??? (sic)"

Another posted: "Went to work?! Is Tina dead or not?! I need to know!!!! Or have u just got a new job already? (sic)"

One commented: "Please say you’re coming back?? Tina didn’t have a big enough storyline yet and she needs an explosive one - which this could be, especially with Shirley finding out the truth, and even Phil for that matter (sic)"

Tina was killed by Gray off-screen, but viewers did see what appeared to be her dead body.

He then covered her in wrapping paper.

Following her exit, Luisa admitted it was a "bittersweet" departure.

She said: "It's a little bit bittersweet because Tina is a character I have invested a lot in and a character that I really love, so to see that end is quite sad.

"When you do an acting job you usually know the ending, this is the only job where you don't really know the ending, it's quite a strange experience."
