Lucy Watson "will never be" with Jamie Laing.

The couple appeared to have their romance on the right track on last week's 'Made in Chelsea' finale but the 22-year-old brunette admits their relationship is now over after pictures of him emerged getting close to a number of women on holiday in Miami shortly after they got together.

She told MailOnline: "Jamie and I are not together, and we never will be."

And speaking on the show's 'End of Season Party' on E4 last night (30.12.13), she told host Rick Edwards: "You make this gesture, and tell me that you love me and then you get with someone else. I did really love Jamie, but I don't trust him and don't think I will any time soon.

"It was bad timing because he was young and horny."

However, Jamie insisted Lucy had ended their romance before he went on the US holiday with friend and co-star Spencer Matthews.

He said: "It's not me being silly, she didn't want to be with me so I went to Miami with Spencer and met lots of girls, and she kissed me when I got back. I asked her to come with us."

A friend of Lucy's admitted Jamie told the truth about them hooking up after the holiday, but insisted she has now moved on from him.

The source said: "When he came back from Miami, Lucy spent time with Jamie, and they have hooked up once after a drunken night out.

"It's difficult because they are great friends and there is definitely chemistry between them, but Lucy is always trying to resist it as she knows Jamie will let her down.

"Lucy has moved on from Jamie - she has planned a trip to LA in January where she is meeting buyers for her new jewellery range, Creature, and is meeting up with a number of industry people to discuss projects internationally in 2014."

Jamie says he is "heartbroken" by their split but hinted he hasn't ruled out a reconciliation in the future.

He tweeted: "FYI -@imLucyWatson and I are still close. Not saying anything but #WatchThisSpace.

"Heartbroken. (sic)"
