Lucy Pargeter has given birth to twin girls.
The 'Emmerdale' star and her fiancé Rudi Coleano welcomed two bundles of joy into the world last Thursday and all are doing well.
A spokesperson for the ITV soap said in a statement: "Lucy Pargeter and Rudi Coleano are delighted to announce the birth of their twin girls who were born on Thursday, April 13. All are happy and healthy and Lola is delighted to have finally become a big sister."
It comes after Lucy - who is known for playing pub landlord Chas Dingle in the long-running soap - revealed she used to sneak off in her lunch break and give herself secret injections in a bid to increase her chances of falling pregnant.
She said: "If you go to your employer and say I'm having IVF, then of course they think well, 'If it works, in nine months time, you're going to be off.'
"So you don't really want to give somebody the indication that you might be off in nine months because it affects storylines and everything."
Lucy and her partner Rudi - who are already parents to daughter Lola - managed to conceive last year after a second round of IVF and they both decided that it would be good if Lola was heavily involved in the pregnancy.
She said: "I wanted to be totally open with her. She's come to scans, she knew about the whole process. We thought it was so important for her to know everything."
The pair announced they were expecting twin girls after finding out during a scan before Christmas.
She said: "It's two girls! We found out at the five-month scan just before Christmas, and we're just over the moon that they're both healthy - it was the best Christmas present!"
