Lucy Pargeter has hinted Emmerdale's Chas and Charity Dingle will come to blows this Christmas.

The 43-year-old star's character Chas looks set to walk down the aisle on Christmas Day as her significant other Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) is planning a surprise ceremony for the pair.
But with Charity (Emma Atkins) on a path of self-destruction after cheating on Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), there are concerns she could spoil the nuptials, and Lucy admits Chas could well knock her cousin out if she ruins her big day.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz and other media about how Chas might react if Charity wrecks her wedding, she said: "I think she will go absolutely atomic on her.
"If it has all been planned and Paddy has gone to all the effort of doing it and yet again Charity, on a selfish note because she has been told off by Chas, comes in and ruins the whole thing then I think Chas will either knock her out and chuck her out of the church.
"Or she will bind and gag her in her house and just carry on, and then deal with her at the wedding reception."
Dominic feels really fortunate to be at the forefront of an 'Emmerdale' festive episode, and admitted he watches "all the soaps" over Christmas.
He added: "It's a big date in the soap calendar the Christmas episode.
"I always watch all the soaps over Christmas. I think we're very lucky to be featured in one of them.
"I think being featured in a Christmas episode only comes around every 10/ 20 years.
"It's an iconic episode, and I'm very lucky to be involved."
