Gemma Collins' mum Joan has been rushed to hospital with a mystery illness.
The 42-year-old reality star took to social media late on Wednesday (02.08.23) evening to urge her followers to "love" their parents as her mum Joan, 67, ended up in hospital as she thanked the medical staff at the Queen's Hospital in Romford.
She wrote on Instagram: "Such a scary moment when mum come to hospital. Thank you queens hospital Romford for all your doing. Love your parents as hard as you can. Thank you to everyone looking after mum @joancollins1 at QUEENS HOSPITAL ROMFORD."
The 'Diva Forever' star is close friends with Irish singing sensations Jedward, who were quick to send their support to Gemma and her family, along with fellow 'TOWIE' cast member Jess Wright.
John and Edward commented: "Your mom is the most loving and caring soul ever - sending healing energy", whilst Jess posted a string of heart emojis.
Gemma did not reveal exactly what had happened to her mum but previously revealed that that she was in a taxi going across London when she received a phone call from Joan who had been hesitant to tell her what was going on after finding a lump in her breast before getting the all-clear.
Earlier this year, told The Sun: "It was over the phone. I was in the back of a taxi in London and I was like, ‘Are you all right, mum? Where are you?’ — as we say every day, ten times a day. She said, ‘Ah I didn’t want to tell you, but I’ve had a lump in my breast. I was like, ‘What?’, and she said, ‘But it’s fine I’ve got the all-clear’. I was like, ‘Oh, my God. Why didn’t you tell me?'"
