The 23-year-old footballer is currently taking part on the hit ITV2 reality show and upon taking estate agent coordinator Samie, 22, on their final date on Thursday's (09.03.23) episode, declared that even though the pair have had a "few bumps" along the way, he thinks that she is the one.

He said: "When you first walked in, I was like 'Wow!' And yeah, I was just tunnel-visioned for you from the get go. I know we had like bumps and stuff along the way and look, yeah, I messed up, I knew I was going to turn it around.

“And when you gave me that second chance, I was just buzzing. I wrote you a poem, it was a good little poem, that was. We've had a bit of a mad journey. Would I change it? "No, just because I feel like it has made us so strong. I haven't liked a girl like this for a long time. You know how big family is for me and I think it is the same for you. For me to have a girl get on with my sister is something that I would dream of. I can just picture you sat with my sister and I know you would just get on so well.

"I feel like my mum would start crying - she cries at everything! We're in it together now. We've got each other, there will be tough times but you know you can trust me with anything. I feel like I've met that person I've been looking for. It feels so natural and nice. I can't lie. I'm falling in love with you. It's scary to say but there's not a girl I'd rather be with."

Samie replied that she "cannot wait" to meet Tom's family and did acknowledge the fact that they live in different areas of the country, but claimed that the long-distance nature of their relationship would "not bother her" at all.

She said: "I can't wait to meet her, I can't wait to meet your whole family. I feel like we've got so much to look forward to. Obviously, you live in Barnsley and I live in London but that doesn't bother me. Every day my feelings are growing stronger and stronger. I feel like I am falling, if not, have falling for."

Elsewhere in the episode, Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall were seen on their final date standing in a pool where a choir serenaded them with Sir Elton John hit 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight?' from 'The Lion King', whilst Shaq Mohammed and Tanya Manhegna were seen enjoying a drink in a serene setting on their "first and final date."

Tanya said: "This is day one. You're gonna make me cry. We've had a lot of ups and downs but I feel like the more that we've gone through is what has made us to be honest. I feel like every time we were arguing, you were still in my head rent-free and then going through Casa Amor and you coming back and even when I had someone else, it was still always you.

"If all that stuff happened at the beginning, we would have cracked and broke. But I feel like we're over that now. I feel like we have gone through the worst, honestly and I feel like that has prepared me. I have found someone who truly cares about me. What a man!"

Just moments later, the couple declared that they are officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
