The 24-year-old fashion buyer’s administrator was left heartbroken when Liam returned from Casa Amor, as although he was single, it was later revealed he had kissed bombshell Lillie Haynes during his time in the separate villa.

Millie initially told Liam she was “done” with him and could no longer see a future together, but after the 21-year-old bricklayer’s relentless efforts to win her back, she decided to give him a second chance.

And during Sunday’s (08.08.21) episode of the ITV2 reality series, Millie backtracked on her previous statement and admitted there is a future for herself and Liam.

Liam asked her: “I asked you a few days ago if you saw a future with us, and you said you didn’t know. Do you see a future with us now?”

To which Millie replied: “Yeah.”

During their chat, Liam also explained he’s feeling “all new” emotions for Millie after they shared a kiss the night before.

He gushed: “We were looking into each other’s eyes, and even though we couldn’t see … I knew we were looking into each other’s eyes. I could feel it, you know?

“And then we kissed, and all the emotions came back, and all new ones.”

While in the beach hut, he was visibly giddy as he said: “To be honest, right now I’m on top of the world. It’s like I can’t wait to go to bed so we can wake up tomorrow and do the days all over again.

“If you’re feeling that way you kinda know what you have is special.”

Meanwhile, Sunday’s episode ended on a cliffhanger as the result of the public vote was revealed, leaving three girls and three boys vulnerable.

The public had been voting for their favourite islanders, and those with the lowest votes risked being dumped from the villa.

Abigail Rawlings, Mary Bedford, and Kaz Kamwi were the three girls with the fewest votes, while the boys were Dale Mehmet, Tyler Cruickshank, and Jake Cornish.

Their fellow islanders must now choose which boy and which girl to boot from the island, with the dumping result set to air on Mondau (09.08.21), when ‘Love Island’ continues at 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub.
