The ITV couple are favourites to win tonight's (30.07.18) final and producers are keen to start work on a spin-off show as soon as possible - particularly because they want to capture the salesman's first meeting with his girlfriend's famous dad, 'EastEnders' actor Danny Dyer, on camera.

A production source told The Sun newspaper: "There is a big money offer on the table for the couple and cameras want to start filming them as soon as they leave the villa.

"There is a huge interest in capturing the moment that Jack meets Danny in person, something he's been nervous about since day one. Danny will give him plenty of banter so it would be TV gold."

Should Dani and Jack sign up for the programme, the series looks set to show their life after leaving the 'Love Island' villa, as they try to tackle their newfound fame and life in the spotlight.

The source added: "The mini-series would show their life in the real world and the obstacles they face, like heightened fame, attention from fans and where they're going to live."

Though Jack and Danny haven't met yet, the 41-year-old actor gave him his seal of approval via a video call on Sunday night's (29.07.18) 'Love Island' episode.

Danny described the stationery salesman as a "proper geezer" when he and his wife Joanne Mas spoke to the couple.

The 'EastEnders' actor said: "Babe, he's lovely. He's a proper geezer mate. You've found a right proper geezer in there."

He then told Jack: "Listen, I approve of you mate. I think you're absolutely bang on. I weren't at first, I thought 'Oh here we go'.

"You got so much charisma. Takes a brave man to bowl into that gaff, them all 'abbed up', proper geezer. Honestly mate, we're so over the moon."
