The 'Love Island' couple, who finished in third place in this year's series, are keen to take the next step in their relationship, but the Devon native wants to spend a few nights a week in her home county still.

She said: "We have spoken about it and I think we will likely get a place together but I will probably still spend two, three nights - depending on schedules at work - in Devon.

"Teddy will still have his own space, to be able to see friends, family but it will be our place and we will still spend time apart until we want to be with each other fully.

"I think that’s our next step."

Teddy added: "I think it just depends on how she deals with being away from me!"

The 26-year-old lettings manager joked she would need to be "near a pasty shop" if she was to get on OK in London, and she is looking forward to taking Teddy to the south-west England county.

Faye said: "Depends on how I get on in London, let’s be honest! I’m a Devon girl.

"And I say to Teddy all the time – as long as I’m near a pasty shop and there’s a good pint of cider I should be able to cope for a couple of days a week.

"You can take the girl out of Devon but you can’t take the Devon out of the girl.

"Also, we’re going to get Teddy some wellies and he’s going to come down to Devon."

He said: "Personally, when we’ve spoken about it I’m really open to Devon, anywhere in the UK that gets me closer to Faye."

Just days before Monday's (23.08.21) final of the ITV2 dating show - in which Liam Reardon and Millie Court won the series - Teddy asked Faye to be his girlfriend on their final date.

During their romantic getaway – which saw them take a dip in a pool full of rose petals – the 26-year-old senior financial consultant said: "I’ve been waiting for the right moment, and what I would like for our future is you being my girlfriend. So, will you be my girlfriend?"

And Faye accepted.
