Toby Aromolaran is questioning his decision to recouple.
The 'Love Island' star - who decided to pair up with newcomer Mary Bedford after meeting in Casa Amor - admits he still has feelings for Abigail Rawlings on tonight's episode (30.07.21).
Back in the main villa after Thursday's recoupling, he says: "I’m speechless. I don’t even know what to say. I didn’t know where your head was at?”
And when Abi asks if he likes Mary, he replies: "Yeah, but I like you as well."
However, she suggests it might have been better if he had stronger feelings for his new partner.
She adds: "I’d rather you say you really like her because then it would be worth it.”
Speaking in the Beach Hut, Abi is left wondering what Toby was thinking.
She says: "How many lessons does one guy need, seriously? Why would you throw me away?"
It remains to be seen what he'll decide to do next, but the rest of the villa is poised for more drama as the recoupling continues.
On Thursday night (29.07.21), Chloe Burrows paired up with new boy Dale Mehmet, while Hugo Hammond came back into the villa with newcomer Amy Day.
However, Abi has been left single after Toby's decision, and the rest of the boys will be back in the villa as the recoupling reaches its conclusion.
When asked if she wanted to stick with Toby or re-couple, the tattoo artist said: “I would have liked to have had a little bit more time with him before he left, but I can’t fault the small amount of time we’ve had together.
“With my experience with him personally I can’t fault him, but I’d like to say that he’s learned from a few of his past mistakes.”
'Love Island' continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player
