The 22-year-old influencer hails from Liverpool and studies biomedical science at university but has signed up to the winter edition of hit ITV2 reality dating show - which in summer 2022 was won by Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti - because she is looking for love and although she has a skin pigmentation known as Vitiligo, she "doesn't care" about covering it up and finds it to be "quite cute."

She said: "I’m looking for a boyfriend and I think being in a Villa with lots of different people will help me work out who it is I may want. I have Vitiligo, which is a skin pigmentation, you may not even notice it. It's on my lip and I have a stripe on my hair. Not many people know that but I think it’s quite cute. I don’t care about covering it up all the time, I think it’s a vibe."

Meanwhile, Tanya was asked what gives her the "ick" about the opposite sex and admitted that she cannot stand it when men walk around the house in their bare feet nor is she keen when they fail to put bubbles in the bath.

Asked what gives her the ick, she said: "Guys that don’t wear socks in the house. Why are your feet flapping all around the house? Guys have huge feet too, yuck. Also, guys in the bathtub with no bubbles, such an ick, no. "

'Love Island' starts at 9pm Monday 16th January on ITV2, Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player
