Maura Higgins has landed a new job on 'Love Island USA', four years after she shot to fame on the UK version of the dating show.
The 32-year-old star will be the social ambassador for the Peacock show, meaning she will keep fans updated with all the behind-the-scenes gossip from the upcoming fifth season, which is hosted by Sarah Hyland.
A post on the official 'Love Island USA' Instagram account reads: "This just in… @maurahiggins will be your social ambassador this season bringing (sneaking) you the BTS scoop all summer! #LoveIslandUSA (sic)"
Iain Stirling - who narrates both the UK and US shows - commented: "Welcome to the team."
Maura previously dropped a huge hint that she might be a bombshell on the US version of the programme.
She wrote on Instagram: "Bye bye London... for a long time."
The star also shared how she was greeted by two guys holding up 'Love Island'-branded signs that read "got a text" when she touched down in her new location.
Maura finished in fourth place on 'Love Island' series five alongside then-boyfriend Curtis Pritchard.
Following the series, she split from Curtis.
Last year, it was reported she was one of the candidates who could host the 'Big Brother' reboot on ITV.
But in April, AJ Odudu and Will Best were confirmed as the show's new presenters.
Maura has some presenting experience after fronting BBC series 'Glow Up Ireland', and she has also done some roving reporter and presenting jobs on 'This Morning'.
