Abigail Rawlings has been left single on ‘Love Island’ after Toby Aromolaran returned from Casa Amor with Mary Bedford.

The islanders gathered around the firepit for an extensive recoupling which began during Thursday’s (29.07.21) episode of the ITV2 reality series, and saw the first two boys – Toby and Hugo Hammond – return from Casa Amor.
And there was heartbreak for Abigail after she chose to stay loyal to the semi-professional footballer – who had previously dumped Chloe Burrows in favour of Abigail just days before the Casa Amor split – as he came back with new girl Mary.
When asked if she wanted to stick with Toby or re-couple, the tattoo artist said: “I would have liked to have had a little bit more time with him before he left, but I can’t fault the small amount of time we’ve had together.
“With my experience with him personally I can’t fault him, but I’d like to say that he’s learned from a few of his past mistakes.”
And when Toby came back with Mary, he defended his actions by insisting it was “early days” with Abigail so he assumed she would have found someone else too.
He said: “I don’t know what to say at the moment, to be honest. I’m a bit shocked. I just thought it was early days, and with six new beautiful boys I thought … I dunno.
“Going to Casa Amor was kind of a clean slate. With Mary there was no pressure on the situation, she’s an attractive and beautiful girl inside and out so, when I came back I wanted to bring something I had with someone back as well.”
Toby’s new romance marks the fourth he’s had since he entered the villa on day one, as he was first coupled up with Kaz Kamwi before jumping ship to get to know Chloe, who he then ditched for Abigail.
Elsewhere in the first part of the re-coupling, friendship couple Hugo and Chloe each chose to recouple with a new arrival, with the PE teacher bringing back Amy Day from Casa Amor, and Chloe choosing Dale Mehmet.
The rest of the boys will return from Casa Amor in Friday’s (30.07.21) episode, which will air at 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub.
