The 24-year-old administrator was left devastated when the bricklayer cheated on her with Lillie Haynes, but after he gave a heartfelt speech in which he called her his “soulmate”, the blonde beauty chose him again in the recoupling – but warned the 21 year old he needed to treat her better.

She said: “The journey I thought I had with this boy completely turned upside down a few days ago. The way he behaved in Casa Amor was totally disrespectful and I believe I deserve more than that.

“The past few days is the saddest I’ve been since I stepped inside this villa but it’s given me time to think about what I want. The gestures have been a bit questionable but the speech tonight, I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me smile.

“It’s gonna take a lot more than just a speech, it’s a slow journey to go back to what we had.”

Elsewhere, Mary Bedford was upset when Abigail Rawlings chose to partner with Dale Mehmet, leaving Sam Jackson her only choice to couple with.

She muttered: “What the f**k? I think I’m going to cry.”

But trying to see the positive, she said: “Obviously this is not at all what I was expecting or hoping for because I do have a connection with another boy in the villa and I think they feel the same way.

“This is a bad situation for me to be in, however the boy I’m gonna couple up with is still a great guy. He’s really funny, we get on like a house on fire. My fellow northerner, Sam.”

Chloe Burrows opted to couple up with Toby Aromolaran again after he’d previously admitted he still had feelings for her.

She said: “As soon as I saw him walk back from Casa Amor I knew there was something still there and I’m pleased he felt the same. However, you’ve not got away with it and if anything happens like that were so, so finished.

“I’m excited to give you a second chance and hopefully the actions and the words will be loud.”

Liberty Poole chose first and to no one’s surprise opted to stay with Jake Cornish.

She gushed: “Every moment I’m with him I fall a bit deeper. He’s like my best friend but I also want to rip his clothes off.”

The other couples also remained unchanged.

'Love Island' continues on ITV2 and ITV Hub, and on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.

Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
