The 'EastEnders' actress revealed last month she and her fiance Ben Bhanvra have booked their big day for July 2021, but the pair would be prepared to cancel their wedding if their guests cannot attend, and as a result her gown has been left in the shop for the time being.

She wrote on Instagram: "Going to try on wedding dresses feels like a lifetime ago. . My mum came to every appointment. I loved every dress . . She chose the winner. (This ISN’T it) My dress is still in the shop as I feel so anxious about collecting it? Not knowing if I’ll even be wearing it this year? Brides . . How are you feeling? Are you still counting on 2021 for your big day or are 2022 new dates being discussed? (sic)"

The 31-year-old actress - who plays Ruby Allen on the BBC One soap - recently admitted she and Ben will postpone their nuptials if they cannot have "the exact wedding" they want.

She added: "We’ve booked the wedding for July, we just don’t know if it will go ahead. We’ve said that if we can’t have the exact wedding we want, with all our guests, we’ll postpone it again.

"Otherwise, to me that’s not a wedding - it’s not the wedding I would want. It’s not worth it for us."

And the former 'The Bill' star wouldn't want her wedding guests to "feel on edge" at her nuptials.

She said: "Now we’ve bought a house we know we’re going to be together forever as the house is a huge commitment.

"We will get married but when everything is relaxed and people feel safe. I wouldn’t want people to feel on edge."
