Louis Walsh will only watch American soaps.
The former 'X Factor' judge, 63, has been able to free up his weekends for the first time in 11 years after being dropped from the primetime show earlier this year but he has admitted he's not interested in supporting UK programmes.
He said: "I'm a TV addict. I only watch American soaps. I don't like the UK soaps at all. I've never watched any of them, ever! I don't even know who's in them.
"I'm watching 'Orange is the New Black,' I'm on series two. And I've just finished 'Empire' - series one - it's the best. 'Empire' is the best. And I watch the 'Good Life' and all that. I'm a bit of an addict if I'm honest."
However, despite stepping away from his 'X Factor' chair, the music manager - who mentored the likes of Westlife and Boyzone through success in the 90s - is still rushed off his feet with various projects in his native Ireland.
He explained to BANG Showbiz: "I still love coming over to London. After all these years, I still love doing it. But I love living in Dublin. I'm working at the moment with a new boy band called Home Town and I'm working with Shane Filan from Westlife."
