Louis Walsh has confirmed this year's 'X Factor' will be his final series.
The Irish music mogul - who is the only panellist to have been on the ITV talent show since it began in 2004 - will step down as a judge after 10 seasons on the panel, and he is looking forward to getting back to his day job of managing music acts.
He told TV Times magazine: "I'm happy this is going to be my last year. I've been judging 'X Factor' for 10 years so I've done it all.
"It was never in my plan to be on TV but Simon [Cowell] put me there. I'm very grateful to him but I need my life back."
Louis was responsible for helping manage Boyzone and Westlife to success, and he is to team up with the latter's Shane Filan to create a new group.
He added: "I'm going to be managing Shane Filan from Westlife and I'm putting together a new boyband."
Louis will appear alongside Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger on this year's judging panel.
A spokesperson for 'The X Factor' said: "We're delighted Louis is back for a record breaking 10th series this year.
"It's far too early to say what the judging panel for 2014 may or may not look like."
