Louis Tomlinson is considering quitting 'The X Factor'.
The 27-year-old pop star joined the ITV show's judging panel in 2018, but Louis has admitted he doesn't know whether he'll return to the programme later this year, admitting releasing a solo album is his number-one priority.
He said: "Since the show I haven't even spoken to Simon [Cowell].
"We've just kind of giving each other some space because we've seen every single day.
"To be honest I don't really know what the tail end of my year looks like anyway but personally I think it's about the public, you know what I mean? I think it should be about the public but anyway..."
Asked whether he'll return to 'The X Factor', Louis told 'The Dan Wootton Interview' podcast: "I don't know, honestly.
"My priority this year is to get the album out at the end of this year. So it might clash, it might clash."
Meanwhile, Louis recently confessed he didn't feel like he "had a solid place" in One Direction.
The singer - who starred in the chart-topping boyband alongside Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik - revealed he always felt as though he was "treading water".
He explained: "I always pushed for the band to write as much as we could. Probably two years in, I felt like I was treading water a bit.
"I didn't really feel like I had a solid place - what was I contributing? There were some sad times like that, so I said to myself, 'I wanna pick myself up and be the most prolific writer in the band.'"
