Lorraine Stanley tells people they know her from the "top shelf" if they recognise her in public.
The 'EastEnders' actress - who has played launderette worker Karen Taylor on the BBC Soap since 2017 - admitted she often gets stopped in the street and some people can't quite figure out who they're speaking to.
She said: "When people say, ‘Where do I recognise you from?’ I go, ‘The top shelf? Lorraine Does Dallas?’ ”
The 45-year-old star also opened up on potential jobs she could do if she stopped acting, and she joked she could even become a stripper.
Speaking on the 'Drama School Dropout' podcast, she added: "If I could retrain as something I think I’d be a therapist, a counsellor or something like that. I like helping people, so maybe I could be a carer or a therapist.
“Or a stripper! If you’ve got it, you might as well flaunt it.”
Lorraine previously admitted she found it tough not to be able to hug her co-stars when she returned to the Albert Square set last summer, due to coronavirus pandemic filming restrictions.
She said at the time: "Oh, it's good to be back but I'm a hugger and I'm not allowed to hug anyone, so it's a bit difficult in that respect.
"We have to, like, [air kiss] them sort of kisses, those sort of hugs. So, that's a bit weird. But it's good to be back!"
It was mentioned at the time that shows could ignore social distancing if they filmed in small cohorts, and she joked her character would love that scenario.
She quipped: "Well, Karen would lap that up all day long, wouldn't she? She'd kiss anyone if they winked at her."
