Lorraine Kelly's 'Wedding Day Winners' has been axed.
The 59-year-old TV presenter was hired last year to front the BBC primetime gameshow alongside Rob Beckett, which saw couples compete for the chance to get hitched on TV, but the programme has been dropped.
She said: "It was a great show and I loved doing it. But it's OK because I have got my hands full doing my breakfast show to be honest. I'm a lucky girl to get to do what I do.
"Everything was done to make 'Wedding Day Winners' a success but it just didn't work.
"Light entertainment is a hard area to get right. There have been quite a few casualties in recent years."
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Lorraine is popular but her move to primetime didn't prove to be the success everyone thought it would be."
Lorraine went on to explain that she doesn't worry about what fans think of her show and she tries not to take social media "seriously" as that would be "madness".
She said: "I don't look on social media. That would be madness. You know if you've done something that's OK, or you know when you could have done better.
"If you start taking social media seriously it's the wrong thing to do. While there is a lot of positivity, there is also a lot of negativity.
"You have to do your own thing - you have to paddle your own canoe."
