The 56-year-old presenter has revealed she once turned up to her titular breakfast show heavily intoxicated after she slept in the studio following a wild night of boozing.
Speaking to Alan Carr in the Christmas special of his chat show 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man', set to air later this week, she explained: "I am a responsible person, but yes in the past I might have had one or two drinks in my life."
After being pressed for details, Lorraine added: "I went out for lunch, as you do, and then we had a few drinks."
The brunette beauty then reassured fans the incident took place a "long time ago" and she no longer gets up to those sort of antics because she's a mature mother now.
Lorraine, who has 21-year-old daughter Rosie with her husband Stevie Smith, explained: "Now this is a long time ago. This was before I was a responsible mother, and we went out and we just sort of kept drinking."
However, despite rocking up to set stinking of booze, Lorraine is adamant no body realised her drunken state.
She said: "I don't pull sickies. It was a long time ago, and nobody noticed. Which I thought was quite good."
