The 56-year-old presenter was forced to learn the language when she was at school but, although over three decades have passed since she attended a lesson, she has admitted she still remembers some of the lingo and found herself having a conversation with some Russian natives recently.
She told Woman's Own magazine: "I learnt Russian at school and have forgotten most of it, but after a few drinks at a bar with a friend last year it all came back to me and I was chit-chatting away with a bunch of Russians from Moscow."
And that's not the only thing that comes back to her when she's knocked back a few glasses of wine as she also has no issues hitting the dance floor for a little boogie.
However, the brunette beauty has no desire to put her skills to the test on 'Strictly Come Dancing' and recently admitted she turned down a large-figure deal to take part on the show.
She said: "I was asked to do 'Strictly Come Dancing', years ago, and I turned it down. I think it's a fantastic show and I just said to them, 'I love to watch but not in a million years.'
"You know how you always get someone that goes on who's always the comedy, I think it was Jeremy Vine or Russell Brand, and I wouldn't even be comedy, I'd just be really bad."
