Lorna Simpson believes Sharon Osbourne was right to abstain from voting off one of her acts on 'The X Factor'.
The 26-year-old business student from London was sent home after competing in the sing-off against van driver Shelley Smith, 34, on Sunday night (13.10.13).
Both acts were mentored by Sharon - who is responsible for the over-25s this series - and she refused to send either of the aspiring singers home, leaving the voting to her fellow judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger.
Lorna agrees with Sharon's decision and knew she wouldn't be able to pick between her two acts.
During an appearance on 'Daybreak' this morning (14.10.13), she said: "I know Sharon was like that because I know she feels it - she's just a normal person with that big heart - I think anyone would have been like that, like 'I can't do it.' "
Although Lorna is very disappointed to leave the live shows in the first week, she insists she is feeling "positive" about the future.
Speaking to hosts Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones, she admitted: "I'm feeling quite positive now - definitely uplifting ... but I'm quite like that anyway, I'm just a very positive person."
Lorna insists getting to 'The X Factor' live shows has been an incredible experience and she has enjoyed every step of the journey.
She said: "From my very first audition it's always been like, 'Oh my god, I can't believe I'm going through.' It's just been incredible."
