Directed by James Mangold, Logan is the final instalment into Hugh Jackman’s time as one of the world’s most famous mutants; the X-Men character, Wolverine. Taking place in the near future, the movie sees Logan taking care of an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart), hiding out on the Mexican border and quickly tasked with also taking care of a mysterious young girl named Laura.
Now, Jackman, Stewart and Mangold have all taken a look back at the incredible 17 years Jackman has been a part of the Marvel franchise, in a brand new ‘Legacy’ featurette that delves into some of the most exciting and memorable moments fans have seen to-date. You can check that video out below:
This week it was revealed that Logan had clawed its way to the top of the UK box office, delivering the best opening for an X-Men movie to-date despite it being given the highest certification possible. The film took in a debut of £9.44 million including previews of £2.5 million, sitting comfortably ahead of 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine which took in £6.66 million and £1.87 million in previews.
Logan also boasts the second biggest debut of 2017 so far, behind only Sing which took in £10.49 million in total. Putting previews aside, Logan sits atop the board with weekend takings of £6.95 million to Sing’s £6.29 million.
Logan is available to watch now in cinemas and IMAX across the UK.
